Security Manager implements security strategy, policies, and standards to ensure the physical safety of all visitors, employees, or customers to the organization's facilities and the security of property and assets. Conducts regular audits and inspections to assess, identify, and mitigate any security vulnerabilities or gaps. Being a Security Manager trains staff and establishes operational plans for crisis response, disaster recovery, evacuation, workplace violence, and other emergency events. Monitors and inspects systems, alarms, and other physical security measures. Additionally, Security Manager participates in education programs and contributes to communications on security policies and topics to ensure staff is adequately informed and equipped to manage potential security issues. Engages with local, state, provincial, or federal authorities to keep abreast with all security-related information, directives, and events. Initiates or assists with investigations and critical event responses in coordination with law enforcement and other officials or agencies. Job Summary
The Data Manager will oversee and support the personnel within the data department with scheduling and quality control of deliverables. This position works closely with the project management team to coordinate deliverables and completion of paperwork required by contracts.
Essential Duties
· Provide scheduling of tasks and deliverables.
· Assist in the writers in development and execution of technical data packages.
· Ensure technical writers have the proper data and tools to complete tasks.
· Tracking of progress within multiple projects.
· Assist with strategic planning and improvement processes to improve efficiency in the writing departments.
· Ensure all tasks are completed in a timely and high-quality manner.
· Quality control of work products before delivery to the appropriate parties.
· Coordinate with the cost estimating team regarding pricing proposals for new work. Ensure that all pricing is accurate in accordance with requirements for the Data Department during solicitation.
· Superior attention to detail to all tasks to ensure accuracy.
· Provides written and oral reports, abstracts, summaries, charts, graphs, memoranda, formal correspondence, or other products.
· Edits portions of studies, reports, and assists in or directs the development and presentation of the information.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
· This position may travel on rare occasions.
· Regularly demonstrates a high level of expertise and professionalism to build partnerships with customers and colleagues.
· Works as part of a team by contributing to Company goals, offering input, and pursuing new ideas.
Required Skills
· Must be confident utilizing Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Teams Microsoft Project), Adobe Acrobat Pro, and database programs.
· Must be proficient in the use of electronic communication equipment such as a personal computer, scanner, multi-line phone and printers.
· Must also be able to use various third-party programs to complete the tasks given.
· Excellent writing and proofreading skills are required.
· This position requires periodic drug testing, a valid driver’s license, background check, and ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
