Shipping Administrator Job Location : Benicia, CA Pay Range : $25 - 30 / hr. Job Type : Temporary to Hire Schedule : Monday - Friday, 9 a.
m. - 5 : 30 p.m. Description of Position :
The Shipping Administrator will assist with shipping times to customers while handling administrative duties. Candidates must possess strong computer skills, including the ability to generate reports and input data.
The ideal candidate will have previous shipping experience and be open to working in both the front office and warehouse when needed. Benefits once converted :

Previous shipping experience
Key Responsibilities (including, but not limited to) :
- Assisting with shipping processes to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
- Handling administrative duties such as data entry, generating reports, and maintaining shipping records.
- Coordinating with warehouse staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment and shipment preparation.
- Communicating effectively with customers regarding shipping updates and tracking information.
- Collaborating with team members to streamline shipping procedures and improve efficiency.
- Providing support to other departments as needed, including front office tasks and warehouse duties.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment in both the office and warehouse areas.
- Adhering to company policies and procedures regarding shipping and inventory management.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in shipping or logistics is required.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and shipping software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to assist with various tasks as needed.
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds (when assisting in the warehouse).
