Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Collection Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, and maintaining positive relationships with clients. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of revenue cycle management to effectively resolve billing issues and inquiries. You will also have customers sign paperwork when they purchase a vehicle. The hours are Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and every other Saturday 9:00 am to 2:30 pm with a day off during the week. There are times when we have to work over. During tax time we work longer hours if we are busy.

Responsibilities

• Contact clients via phone to collect outstanding payments on their accounts.
• Meet and exceed individual and team collections targets, ensuring timely resolution of past due accounts.
• Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions in the system.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving disputes related to billing.
• Accurately post payments to customer accounts and maintain updated records
• Document all interactions with clients, including notes on payment arrangements or disputes.
• Load, print and close car deals

Skills

• Strong communication skills- both on the phone and in writing
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Excellent phone etiquette, demonstrating professionalism in all communications.
• Experience in customer service or collections preferred, but not required
