Set-Up Technician
Our client is seeking mechanically inclined candidates with one year of experience in furnace or heat-treating operations for their Set-Up Technician role on third shift. Here is your chance to join the growing, well-rounded team at an established company in Goffstown, NH!
Responsibilities of the Set-Up Technician

• Perform furnace set-ups and breakdowns
• Load equipment
• Inspect incoming parts and clean as needed
• Package parts for shipping
• Apply filler metals, stop off, and fluxes per written specifications
• Operate forklifts and power tools when required
• Monitor equipment during operation
• Complete paperwork and maintain logs accurately
• Follow all safety and housekeeping standards
• Collaborate with manufacturers, internal department, and support staff to accomplish goals
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Set-Up Technician

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in furnace or heat-treating operations
• Reasonable knowledge of work methods, practices, and procedures involved in a variety of maintenance and repair activities
• Familiarity with operation of cranes, forklifts, and power tools a plus
• Ability to understand customer specifications and drawings
• Computer skills including proficiency with MS Office Suite required
• Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and multitask to meet deadlines
• Ability to handle confidential information with a high level of integrity
