Job Description for Retractable Screens and Awnings Sales Representative:

As a sales representative specializing in retractable screens and awnings, your primary responsibility is to promote and sell these products to residential and commercial customers. You will be tasked with identifying potential clients, presenting product options, providing demonstrations, negotiating terms, and closing sales. Additionally, you will be expected to cultivate strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Presentations: Conduct thorough presentations of retractable screens and awnings, highlighting features, benefits, and customization options to meet customer needs.

2. Consultative Selling: Utilize a consultative approach to understand customers' requirements and recommend appropriate solutions that align with their preferences and budget.

3. Quoting and Proposals: Prepare accurate quotes and proposals based on customer specifications, ensuring clarity on pricing, delivery, and installation details.

4. Negotiation: Negotiate terms and pricing with customers to secure profitable deals while maintaining customer satisfaction and company profitability.

5. Order Processing: Coordinate with internal teams to process orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and installation of products.

6. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing ongoing support, addressing concerns, and seeking opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Sales Experience: Proven track record in sales, preferably in the home improvement or construction industry.

2. Product Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of retractable screens and awnings, including their features, benefits, and applications.

3. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey product information, negotiate terms, and build rapport with customers.

4. Customer Focus: Strong customer service orientation with the ability to understand and address customer needs and concerns effectively.

5. Negotiation Skills: Proficient in negotiation techniques to close deals while maximizing profitability and maintaining customer satisfaction.

6. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple leads, quotes, and orders simultaneously while prioritizing tasks efficiently.

7. Technical Aptitude: Basic technical knowledge to understand product specifications and installation requirements.

8. Team Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with internal teams such as installation crews, customer service, and marketing to ensure seamless customer experiences.

9. Resilience: Resilience to handle rejection and overcome obstacles in the sales process, maintaining a positive attitude and persistence towards achieving sales targets.

10. Driving License: A valid driver's license may be required for conducting on-site visits and demonstrations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
