Shipping and Receiving Clerk assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment. Receives, unpacks, inspects and stores incoming materials and supplies. Being a Shipping and Receiving Clerk uses shipping records to verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders. Documents damages and discrepancies for future reimbursement and reconciliation. Additionally, Shipping and Receiving Clerk typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to supervisor. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. PURPOSE OF JOB
This 1st shift position will prepare shipments, material certifications, and raw material traceability. Perform all product shipment functions. Documents and maintains shipping records and inventory accuracy. Monitor shipping and stockroom supplies.

Experience:
Preferably have 3-5 years’ experience performing the following duties: Data entry in a computer terminal, as well as physical inventory counting. Inventory control processes and procedures. Be able to concentrate in a busy work environment and be detail-oriented to maintain a high level of quality and maintain a safe working environment. Able to walk, lift, bend, sit and/or stand throughout an eight or ten-hour day. Must be able to consistently lift up to 50 lbs. from a floor or table position to chest high using a proper lifting technique. Some operations require the operator to push and/or pull objects.
