What We Do

GSS develops and manufactures secure shipping containers which enables world-wide transportation of sensitive cargo. The Global Secure Container is the only ISO certified secure intermodal shipping container that provides six-sided intrusion detection, real time tracking, door opening alerts, and secure global communication and weight-reduction.

About our Manufacturing Supervisor Positions

We are currently looking for candidates who are great at:

• Supervise manufacturing team to produce manufactured product, implement process improvements, and maintain production and project schedules
• Communicate individual and team expectations via verbal and written methods
• Conduct coaching, discipline, and incentive activities within the manufacturing team
• Develop, design, and build manufacturing processes, fixtures, and procedures
• Conduct recruiting and hiring activities to build and maintain a manufacturing team
• Measure and analyze manufacturing performance to implement improvements
• Lead the manufacturing team, teach and implement Lean manufacturing systems, processes, and tools

• Manufacturing data gathering and analysis
• Ability to use a variety of hand & measuring tools and shop equipment for modification, fabrication, and repair. (and/or mechanical, electrical, composites)
• Lead and Assist in ensuring Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost measurements are met with adherence to the core values of the Global Secure Shipping

WORK ENVIROMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted or with proper equipment
• Wear required safety personal protective equipment
• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of position.
• Ability to spend 90% of time on the floor working in manufacturing area.

Job Type: Full-time/ Exempt

Salary: $55,000.00 - $74,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
