**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Sales Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing outgoing shipments, packing contents, and assisting customer with their shipping needs.
**Duties:**
- Receive incoming shipments, inspect for damages, and verify contents against invoices
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packing items securely and selecting appropriate shipping methods
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries
- Ensure all shipping and receiving processes comply with company standards and procedures
**Skills:**
- Ability to lift, pack or manuver up to 70 lbs
- Experience with using a cash register or POS system
- Knowledge of standard office equipment and tech savvy with cell phones, etc
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual skills are a plus
- Ability obtain a Notary Commission
- Prior experience in retail sales, money handling or shipping sales is advantageous
- Familiarity with gift sales and an eye for displays of products is a bonus
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
