Job Responsibilities:
The main function of a Shipment Coordinator is to provide a best-in-class customer experience to both internal and external customers, giving excellent communication regarding lead-times and shipments of orders to expedite delivery to customers. The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for escalating manufacturing and/or shipping roadblocks to expedite and execute an on time RTS (Ready to Ship) Date/Metric. Create and manage any all-ancillary task to remove all roadblocks associated with driving success to order delivery. Proactively identify and resolve any out of process units that are escalated, Hot, or otherwise delayed and provide timely updates to the requestors and follow up when the units ship. Provide regular communication to customers on orders with long lead-times. Work with facility departments leads to resolve and communicate to all parties involved. Provide better visibility to both our internal facility teams and our Dealer customers by communicating on a regular basis. Develop strong relationships with customers and internal facility teams. Create, maintain and distribute a Monthly and 3 month forward looking Shipping Forecast. Lead daily meetings and providing necessary reports. Collect and file BOLs and enters in Client website and complete the BOL Audit by 3rd accounting day each month. Transact and schedule all MISC orders and Certifications for dealers. Process Title work for units with Chassis. Create and maintain grief reporting. Provide cross-functional back up support to Compatibility Support Analyst Role and Account Coordinator Roes for critical tasks.
The Skills:
Knowledge of how the Dealer ACs and Facility AC roles operate and interact; Familiarity with company manufacturing facilities, processes, equipment and processes as it relates to Engine builds. Have the technical skills to allow for problem solving and finding solutions. Attention to detail, ability to think critically and respond with a sense of urgency. Excellent communication and organization skills, strong interpersonal communication skills and customer relationship building skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and strong time management skills. Ability to work independently and with a team. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 products with a proficient to high proficiency working knowledge in Excel with aptitude to learn new software and systems; Ability to accurately document and record customer information. Previous experience with ERP applications such as, MESA, OASIS, or other ERP systems.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED required and 4 years related experience or associate degree or higher and 2-4 years of related experience required.

Soft Skills
The ideal candidate should be tenacious but charismatic and have technical background (worked on large machinery, an administrative position that supports manufacturing). Ability to positively and calmly work with various personality types and customers who are pushing to have units delivered by the RTS date. Need to manage priority orders while managing the pressure from others to handle theirs. Positively dealing with change and remaining flexible when needed.
