Key Responsibilities

• Processing inbound and outbound shipments using ERP system and RF technology
• Scheduling inbound/outbound dock appointments
• Work assignment to dock personnel
• Internal communication related to the daily inbound and outbound shipments 

Positions Duties 

• Complete daily dock schedules and update as needed
• Completion of truck driver check in/out process and verification
• Trailer seal and temperature verification
• Order allocation
• Answer phone calls/emails as needed to schedule dock appointments
• Communicate with production, scheduling and quality departments as needed to allocate and process orders
• Assign work to dock personnel with direction from the Warehouse Supervisor
• Loading/Unloading/Picking as needed

Requirements 

• Basic Microsoft and computer skills
• Prior ERP and RF Experience
• Strong math skills
• Current or recent PIT certification
• Strong phone/communication skills
• Must be organized and able to multi task in a fast paced environment
• Flexibility to work varying hours/shifts

Work Environment

Work environment involves moderate risks or discomforts which may require special safety precautions working around moving PIT equipment in warehouse facilities.  Protective clothing or gear such as eye protection, cold weather clothing, gloves and work shoes may be required.  Work may require extended periods working in a refrigerated warehouse environment with a temperature range of 30 – 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Work environment may also involve walking outside in various weather conditions.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
• Ability to use hands/arms to reach, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
• Ability to work in multiple areas of the plant and may be exposed to wet and humid conditions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. repeatedly
• Must have excellent vision, distant and peripheral, with the ability to identify and distinguish colors, and adjust focus.
• Will work near moving mechanical parts, high and/or confining places. 
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time completing duties at a desk
