Description

 The successful team member will perform a variety of duties which will include receiving parts/material from vendors and outside services in addition to coordinating shipping activities. Verifies parts/material to pack list and ensure counts are correct. The employee will be responsible for working with Logistics and the Expeditor to prioritize packaging activities and coordinate delivers to customers and vendors. Receive into ERP system, forward paperwork to documentation, pull/request router and fill out appropriately. Move product onto appropriate staging area. Work independently or with minimal direction from Supervisor. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work closely with Logistics and the Expeditor to coordinate shipment of product to customers and vendors.
• Check in incoming shipments to ensure compliance to puraches order requirements. 
• Ensure all information is noted on the router correctly before creating pack list and purchase orders.
• Print out and assign outside service purchase orders.
• Print out and assign pack lists for products and services and see that they are properly assigned
• Print out and assign shipping labels and bills of lading.
• Coordinates required international paperwork with other departments.
• Complete electroic P.O. receiving transaction in ERP system within same day of receipt.
• Utiize general and part/job specific work instructions to assure appropriate handlng of materials received. 
• Provide visual inspection and accurate counds on product received. 
• Communicate shipment discrepancies to responsible buyer for resolution. 
• Deliver incoming products to appropriate department for use. 
• Assist with the scheduling of drivers for special pickups and deliveries.
• Ensure that all shipments are delivered accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all RTS shipments are put away in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Key Roles

• Provide accurate counts and paperwork.
• Ability to locate information/interpret work insturctions and validate product conformance.
• Effectively use processes, equipment, tooling and follows sequence of operations. 
• Cares for parts in accordance with procedures including but not limited to Corrosion Protection, Handling, FOD
• Work to standar and contributes to continuous improvment; communicates issues to team leader in timely manner.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Requires the use of acquired knowledge, high school diploma or GED . One to three years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience i preferred. 

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  The emplooyee must possesses the following skills: 

· Ability to communicate effectively with all internal customers in both written and oral form.

· Ability to perform the duties of the job applying basic mathematics such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers. 

· Basic computer skills.

· Fork truck license or the ability to obtain a fork truck license

Supervisory Responsibilities

No supervisory responsibilities. Training and coordinating activities of others may be required.
