General Job Description:
Coordinate efficient shipping process, personnel and production schedule to ensure customer orders are delivered correctly and on time. Possess excellent problem-solving skills and have ability to work under tight scheduling and deadline conditions. Pursue cost savings opportunities (i.e., back hauls, load spotter hours, maximum cube utilization, etc.). Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations. Manage time and tasks to fulfill all customer orders in a timely manner and to enhance production goals. Work as a “team” member to fulfill all customer requirements at all times. Maintain constant unit flow, avoids line back up by loading trucks when necessary.
