Seeking a Part-Time Shipping & Receiving Coordinator!
The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator will be responsible for coordination of daily shipping activities and logistics, including inventory levels, preparation of shipping documents, invoices, and labels. The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator will be responsible for tracking shipments, updating the internal database, addressing, and resolving any shipping issues or discrepancies.
Pay Range for the Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is $20.00 to $25.00 based on background and experience.
Work Hours are Monday and Tuesday from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
Essential Functions for the Shipping & Receiving Coordinator Include:
- Create and print shipping documents with all corrections (Bill of Lading, Custom Papers and Master Bills).
- Records and resolves any shipping or receiving discrepancies, working with relevant parties to identify root causes and implement preventative measures
- Assists customers, vendors, and internal departments with inquiries, questions, and concerns regarding shipment status, tracking numbers, delivery estimates, etc.
- Assure customer's orders have the necessary paperwork for fulfillment - i.E. Export documents, customer specific labels, pallet tags, packing lists, etc.
- Organize and maintain hard copy and electronic documentation supporting order fulfillment
- Ability to pick product in warehouse and load trailers, if required
- Communicate shortages or changes between shipping and sales department
- Assists with updating and managing repack/repackaging schedules
- Perform routine clerical and operational duties to include typing
Minimum Required Qualifications for the Shipping & Receiving Coordinator Include:
- 2 years' experience as a shipping clerk in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- Detail oriented with the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast moving environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of office equipment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving.
