The Showroom Manager is responsible for the overall successful operation of an assigned Showroom location. Responsibilities include sales and customer service and merchandising. The Showroom Manager ensures all operational functions are completed in accordance with company policy and procedure while conveying a feeling of trust, service, security and satisfaction to customer and staff. Additional responsibilities include meeting with customers, builders and plumbers, providing quotes and selling plumbing products.
The Showroom Manager will work out of our Holland Branch.
What you will be doing:
· Consistently communicates to customers on sales, promotions, new product, and any other areas that support the education of customers and growth of business.
· Provides excellent customer service through timely customer interaction, problem resolution or escalation with effective and efficient follow-up.
· Promptly responds to customer inquiries via phone, text, email, or fax with courtesy in a professional demeanor.
· Conducts personal interactions with customers representative of a company with strong, ethical standards.
· Supports valued business relationships in all dealings with related departments aiming to resolve customer and other issues in a timely manner. Approaches peers and customers with a spirit of positive problem resolution.
· Assists customers on the showroom floor with finished plumbing sections.
· Educate customers on the selection process to create the desired kitchen and/or bath.
· Ensures the general safety, appearance, and maintenance of the showroom. Communicates and addresses issues promptly.
· Communicates to Purchasing special orders that exceed normal usage and intend to deplete stock levels.
· Ensures a safe work environment enjoyable and welcoming to all vendors, customers, and staff
What we need from you:
· 5 or more years’ experience with retail or wholesale sales or distribution and related functions.
· Experience using Solar Eclipse or Eterm ERP system.
· Bachelor’s degree in management, business, or a related field or the equivalent in relatable work experience. HVAC and plumbing knowledge a plus.
· 3 or more years’ experience with logistics or distribution and related functions
· Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
· Aptitude for mathematical operations and numerical analysis.
· Use computers, photocopiers, scanners, phone systems and meeting and virtual platform sharing relative to the needs of the job.
