  • Company DescriptionWe are a family-owned local automotive salvage yard specializing in new and recycled parts. We are proud to offer:Flexible Hours, No weekends or HolidaysPTO, Sick & Holiday PayWeekly PayCasual and Fun EnvironmentRoom for advancementJob DescriptionThe Mechanic Associate receives, dismantles, stores, and distributes new and used inventory.  This role is key to ensuring that orders are received on schedule and records are accurate for the inventory parts.  This position is full-time Monday - Friday.Responsibilities include:Assisting in the unloading of trucks.Accurately inventories merchandise/parts.  Sorts and places merchandise on shelves and racks according to predetermined sequence.Assembles customer orders from stock and prepares for delivery and nation-wide shipping. Assists in counting physical inventory.QualificationsRequires the ability lift and move heavy items up to 80 lbs.Strong work ethic with integrity.Dependable and can-do attitude, punctual and on time.Ability to multi-task with attention to detail and organizational skills.Works well in a team environment. High school diploma or GED equivalent.Strong auto-mechanical knowledge. Must be able to identify all the parts of a vehicle both new and late models.Previous body shop/mechanic work experience is a must.Experience with inventory control systems is a plus.Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
