The Shuttle Driver loads and unloads goods, equipment, materials and passengers between various destinations. Operates company vans or small buses. Being a Shuttle Driver ensures deliveries and pickups are on time. Provides and collects appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods or passengers. In addition, Shuttle Driver may keep logs of vehicle maintenance. May require a Chauffeur Driver's License (CDL). Typically reports to a supervisor. Requires Driver's license. Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to drive our C class shuttle buses from location to location within the Chicagoland area a few early mornings during the week. Part- time shifts are 3-4 hours 2-3 times a week. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving and possess a valid driver's license. Vehicles are Shuttle Buses without passengers but still requiring at least C class licenses. Single axle, no air brakes and gas.
Duties:
- Safely operate a vehicle of this size.
- Punctual and Dependable
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues promptly.
- Plan and follow designated routes efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Communicate with dispatchers and team members.
Experience:
- Experience with commercial driving regulations and requirements.
- Proficiency in automotive repair basics is a plus.
