What are your contributions to the team?

Analyze and report on business costs for various areas. This would involve evaluating expenditures, identifying trends, and providing insights to help optimize our budget and improve efficiency in these areas.

Coordinate and manage the invoicing and billing processes for intercompany customers and vendors, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of all transactions.

Perform account reconciliations with a focus on accuracy and compliance, ensuring all discrepancies are identified and resolved in a timely manner.

Prepare and post journal entries across various areas, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.

Manage invoices within the purchase requisition system, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all invoices.

Handle federal and state tax reporting, including the preparation of property tax renditions and payments, as well as vehicle registrations.

Assist with developing budgets and forecasts and analyzing variances for balance sheet accounts.

Assist in the coordination and completion of internal and external audits of the Company.

Assist with analysis and review of monthly financial statements.

Assist in sales tax reporting and compliance.

Assist in fixed asset reporting including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation as needed.
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:

You have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely-related field.

You have a minimum of 4 years accounting or financial analyst experience.
-
You have good interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, other business areas, and governmental agencies.

You have advanced oral and written communication skills.
-
You have good planning and organizational skills necessary to coordinate workload around multiple assignments.

You have an ability to manage stress and work under tight deadlines.

You have the computer skills necessary to operate word processing, spreadsheet, database, email, and internet-based applications and accounting systems. Knowledge of SAP and/or OneStream is an asset.

You have analytical and judgment skills necessary to evaluate, interpret, and reconcile accounting data according to company and departmental procedures. You have a systemic approach to problem solving.

You have basic knowledge of U.S. General Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), and/or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
