Six Sigma Quality Program Manager jobs in Delaware
Six Sigma Quality Program Manager leads and manages Six Sigma projects. Plans and develops guidelines, targets, and standards used for monitoring and measuring results. Being a Six Sigma Quality Program Manager incorporates Six Sigma methodology and analytics into organizational operations in order to accomplish business objectives. Coaches and trains teams in the utilization and deployment of Six Sigma tools and principles. Additionally, Six Sigma Quality Program Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Requires Six Sigma Black Belt certification. Typically reports to a director. The Six Sigma Quality Program Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Six Sigma Quality Program Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. *Developmental Disabilities/Program Manager
Do you enjoy working with people with developmental disabilities? Do you have experience with supervising staff, managing residential programs, overseeing people with special needs, and experience with licensing standards?
You will add value by:
- Leading and guiding residential staff in assessing individual strengths and needs
- Being a part of creating a safe and positive environment for the individuals in the residence
- Modeling and supervising positive staff communication/written and verbal
- Performing supervisory duties
- Adhering to the agency policies and procedures and state licensing requirements
- The development and implementation of individual habilitation plans
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in human service or related field preferred
- Experience/background working with individuals with behaviorals
- Experience working with people with disabilities in a community setting
- Computer skills necessary
- Flexible work hours
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Physical exam
- Some of our positions require the ability to work with challenging behaviors
