    POSITION SUMMARY

    Supervise, coordinate, and facilitate flow of materials, parts, and assemblies from vendors within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules or department priorities.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Reviews incoming and outgoing shipments for correctness of amount and type of materials.
    • Coordinates transportation with vendors.
    • Run MRP weekly to review production schedule and order required materials. Prepare weekly inventory coverage and material status reports; prepares status report for management; Review inventory discrepancies and define corrective actions.
    • Implement and maintain policies and procedures relating to inventory control; audit receiving procedures and company records to ensure audit requirements and policies are followed; recommend adjustments to inventory as needed.
    • Supervise team of Production Analysts to assure efficient and timely completion of work.
    • Enforces operational procedures; manages finished goods and materials warehouse personnel to optimize workloads.
    • Applies warehouse operating procedures following safety standards.
    • Reviews production schedules and determines material required or overdue and locates material.
    • Develops work schedules and assigns work to subordinates.
    • May hire, train, evaluate employee performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.
    • Manage inventory control and direct team to identify and resolve variances to achieve an accurate perpetual inventory count and protect company assets
    • Coordinate physical inventory process with monthly cycle counts. Request and supervise interim counts.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • One (1) year of leadership experience
    • Two (2) years of related experience
    • Must possess organization skills, including the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects to meet various deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Basic computer skills; proficient with Microsoft office, including skills with Outlook, Word and Excel.
    • The ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently and within a team environment
    • Experience with utilizing ERP systems (SAP, Accuterm, ROSS, etc.)
    • Ability to work as a forklift operator
    • Ability to identify complex problems, review information to develop and evaluate options then implement solutions
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • HS Diploma, GED or equivalent
    • Logistics Certification
    • Experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Bilingual

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Regularly required to stand; use hands and fingers in a repetitive motion. Frequently required to stand, walk and reach above the head. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl and talk or hear. The employee is required to lift a minimum of forty (40) lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment ranges from normal office levels to loud factory / warehouse levels.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    • Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, 1st, 2nd and/or 3rd shifts
    • Ability to work in temperature conditions between 35 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit; may occasionally exceed 95 degrees Fahrenheit
