Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Valve, Pump, and Small Engine Repair Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for performing repairs on oil field valves and pumps as well as small engine equipment. The ideal candidate should have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Work Environment: Work is performed in a repair shop located within a warehouse/industrial facility. The employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles in an environment that can range from quiet to loud. This individual may also operate company vehicles.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Repair and refurbish oilfield equipment pumps and valves
· Perform routine maintenance and repairs on small engine tools and oilfield equipment, such as lawnmowers and chainsaws
· Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues to determine the root cause of problems
· Repair or replace faulty parts using hand tools and power tools
· Maintain a safe and clean working environment free from hazards
· Keep repair shop area clean and organized
· Assist customers with inquiries and provide technical support when needed
· Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction
· Work in point-of-sale system to maintain inventory levels, track orders, and assist customers
· Provide customer service to clients
· Assist with other departments including sales, maintenance, and warehouse as available.
