The role you’ll contribute:

The Social Media Specialist assists in the planning, developing, executing and evaluating social media and digital content, advertising, campaigns and programs for AdventHealth. The role will include writing and creating engaging content for social platforms that amplifies on-brand messaging to further AdventHealth strategic priorities and business goals. This position requires data-driven decision making to best position content, tell compelling stories and use real-time insights to achieve appropriate audience engagement, reach and growth. This position reports to the Communications Director.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Execute on day-to-day social media strategy, content and campaigns across social platforms under the guidance of the Communications Director.
• Support the Communications Department on managing the social media content calendar to publish to AdventHealth social media handles on a regular basis, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Plan, write, and edit social media posts on multiple channels for multiple audiences.
• Scheduling and posting daily content to our current social media pages.
• Work with cross-functional teams to build out editorial calendar.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English or related field or six years of related experience in lieu of degree.

• 2-4 years of related experience.

• Current Florida Drivers License
