Social Media Marketing and Communications Manager jobs in Chesterfield, MO

Overview: Zimmer Communications is growing! We are looking to add a new social media manager to our Columbia team. The social media manager would be responsible for strategically growing Zimmer clients' social media audience and engagement alongside our social media team. Social Media is fun and we have fun doing it! Our Social Media Team is able to be creative and have fun while helping our clients grow with this creative marketing strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, train, and lead a team of 2 other social media specialists and interns as needed.
• Work with the director of sales to set department revenue growth objectives.
• Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
• Generate, edit, and publish daily content (original text, images, video) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
• Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community, when applicable.
• Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
• Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
• Collaborate with client to go over analytics and finalize strategy for social platforms.
• Work with Zimmer properties to help grow our brands and train our associates

Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of the following platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin and TikTok
• Extensive experience with paid social media buying
• Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist
• Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
• Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
• Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
• Video production experienced is preferred
• BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations
