Social Media Marketing Specialist jobs in Blue Springs, MO

Local Kansas City restaurant group looking to hire part time Social Media/Marketing Coordinator.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a few slightly crazy, creative, and motivated people to join our small team and take ownership of our many ongoing marketing projects. Our marketing department has many, well-established marketing projects that could benefit from additional support, and we are also looking to create new ideas and implement them with a hard-working team.

We are looking for candidates with a variety of skills, including:

• Excellent writing skills and ability to create new content daily
• Shoot and edit videos to fill our website and other social media accounts
• Take photos and create content for our social media channels

Our team is high-energy and fast-paced! That means we are looking for people who can make independent choices and decisions on the fly.

Here's a sample of some of the projects you could be working on:

• Strategize, develop, and execute campaigns through popular social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok.
• ​​Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling marketing tactics including client insights, market opportunities, and competitive analysis.
• Manage general manager and other vendor relationships.
• Communicate, collaborate and be the marketing point of contact for our owner.
• Plan, design, and execute multiple weekly e-newsletters
• Arrange and participate in events marketing

Marketing assistants will be required to plan and attend several community marketing events. This might mean working in the evenings or the weekends.

• Qualifications:
• Four-year college degree
• Lots of experience in Excel, Word, Google Docs, Google Drive
• Experience working ad platforms like Google Ads or Facebook Ads
• General understanding of data analytics and reporting
• Working knowledge of video editing programs or graphic design programs
• PLUS - Adobe Creative Suite experience
• PLUS - Web Design experience

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• Associate (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Kansas City, MO 64112: Relocate before starting work (Required)
