Provides crisis intervention and assists families in understanding the implications and complexities of the life situation and its impact on lifestyle. Being a Social Worker (MSW) provides professional social work assistance to clients and families as related to illness, disease, hospitalization, financial and educational needs by utilizing a variety of modalities in all areas of service. Responsibilities also include involvement in the discharge planning process. Additionally, Social Worker (MSW) requires a master's degree. Typically reports to a manager. We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time, Social Worker to join our Gracepoint partial hospitalizaiton program. The Social Worker will lead groups and develop and implement groups based on patient population. Demonstrates an understanding of, and embraces, the mission statement of the Christian Health.
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 3pm-7pm OR 4pm - 8pm (Flexible between these two shifts)
Education: Master's degree in Social Work required.
Licensure: Current valid New Jersey Licensed Social Work (LSW) required.
Experience: Minimum of one year social work experience preferred.
