What will you do?
 
Your mission as a  Software Architect will involve: 

• Architecting the Future with designing Robust Systems: Define and execute a multi-year architectural vision for our IoT Connectivity Management Platform, ensuring it aligns with and accelerates our strategic business objectives. Lead the design and execution of our IoT Connectivity Management Platform, focusing on high-scale, mission-critical production systems. Utilize your extensive experience to build scalable, fault-tolerant, and cloud-based distributed systems. 

• Driving Technological Innovation: Champion transformative technology initiatives that not only redefine our competitive landscape but also solidify our market leadership. Adapt to and quickly master new technologies, providing expertise and guidance across various tech stacks and critical engineering issues. 
• Ensuring Scalability and Security: Oversee the development of our technology infrastructure, ensuring it is robust, scalable, and secure to support long-term growth. 
• Cultivating Excellence: Mentor and provide technical leadership across the organization, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Your guidance will inspire our teams to achieve technical excellence and nurture the next generation of leaders. 
• Leading Strategic Initiatives: Direct strategic initiatives leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive business transformation. Build and maintain strategic partnerships with industry leaders, research institutions, and technology innovators.

• Leading With Expertise: Be a thought leader in cloud architecture, demonstrating a bias for action. Your role will involve high-level design as well as hands-on coding or detailed design work as needed.

Skills And Qualifications

• 8 years of hands-on experience in designing, planning, and executing scalable and fault-tolerant cloud-based distributed systems.   
• Excellent expertise in microservice architectures, domain, and event-driven design. 
• Comprehensive understanding of software/system design patterns, data structures, relational and NoSQL databases, backpressure/circuit breaking, distributed caching, and networking.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructures and Kubernetes.
• Thought leadership in cloud architecture, with solid programming skills in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, Go, etc.), protocol stacks (e.g., gRPC, Websockets, etc.), and big-data technologies (i.e. Kafka, Clickhouse, etc.). 
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, capable of leading teams through challenging engineering problems.
• Strong customer focus, with a passion for understanding and solving their problems.
• Exceptional ability to distill complex conflicts, harmonize diverse views, and lead the organization toward the best path forward, securing senior leadership alignment in the process.
