Software Architect is responsible for the structural design and development of new software systems or extensive software revisions for external customers. Analyzes software requirements and defines system components to ensure efficient and scalable software architecture. Being a Software Architect designs and implements software solutions to consider business and technical needs and ensures compatibility with existing systems. Creates and maintains architecture documentation such as design specifications and diagrams to guide future maintenance and development. Additionally, Software Architect works with non-technical stakeholders to analyze requirements and understand constraints, dependencies, and business needs. Has in-depth knowledge of software development processes and methodologies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Software Architect work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. To be a Software Architect typically requires 7+ years of related experience.     Job description:

    You will be connected with Sumer Innovations' clients and prospects locally and remotely on the online platform to discuss the project scope and provide a quote. You will also be connected with our global network of experts with whom you will collaborate on projects. We have technical experts who can check your work and provide advice. We have drafters, junior and senior architects and engineers from overseas who can do all the work within time and budget. You will decide whether to use other freelancers and how much to pay them to do the work. You will not be burned out or working by yourself, and you will have the opportunity to grow your income.

    Summary of what you’ll do:

    • Meet prospective clients locally and remotely to discuss their project needs
    • Develop and provide drawings to existing and potential clients
    • Ensure planning and design meet the client's requirements
    • Prepare detailed drawings showing the details of the building
    • Direct staff in the development of project drawings
    • Visit worksites to ensure work is being done according to plans

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in architecture or a related field
    • Registered architect, or ability to obtain the license within one year of hire.
    • Minimum 4 years of experience
    • Small and medium scale, multi-use project experience is required
    • Residential and commercial experience is required
    • Revit is highly preferred
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
