Responsibilities:
Materials Management (MM) supports R & D activities in the manufacture of clinical, stability, and developmental supplies by procuring and dispensing materials to internal Pilot Plant and external Contract Manufacturing Organizations. The Materials Management Specialist is responsible for receiving, dispensing, and warehouse management of materials used in the preparation of clinical supplies, safety assessments, stability, and experimental formulated drug products. The Specialist will work with multiple business partners to ensure material availability required to support on time delivery. Examples of activities: • Managing materials from receipt to release, including collection of all required documentation. • Inspecting incoming materials to verify contents and quality. • Supporting shipment of materials both locally and globally. • Dispensing Materials for clinical production. • Supporting forecast analysis for material procurement. • Supporting warehouse management activities. • Adhering to SOPs, cGMPs and safety procedures.
