Responsibilities:
- Develop Android applications that align with our product strategy and follow engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging and powerful customer experiences.
- Participate in team meetings and ensure timely delivery of all commitments.
- Advocate for the mobile platform within and outside the organization.
- Continuously learn about new technologies related to mobile development.
- Mentor junior team members and actively engage with developers from other disciplines.
- Lead and deliver major components and platform needs in collaboration with senior engineers and architects.
- Share best practices and improve processes across teams.
- Identify technical obstacles and find creative solutions.
- Review pull requests and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Provide leadership and guidance to other mobile developers.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience building Android applications.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Kotlin.
- Minimum 2 years of people management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree.
- 5 years of experience building Android applications.
- 5 years of people management experience.
- 4 years of experience with Kotlin.
- 4 years of experience in open source frameworks.
- 2 years of experience with Agile practices.
- 1 years of experience with AWS.
Salary: The minimum and maximum annual salaries for this role in different locations are specified below:
- New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $197,400 - $225,300 for Manager, Software Engineering.
Other locations will have different pay ranges, and the final salary offer will be communicated in the offer letter.
