SOFTWARE QA ANALYST (UAT LEAD) - Experience: 6 years
Agency Project Scope (Description of Work Needed - Additional background check requirements are to be added here)
Position will be responsible for the following:
- Create and update In-sprint and UAT plan and schedule.
- Collaborates with identified Business staff to train on effective test case preparation and execution.
- Collaborates with identified Business staff to train on Microsoft's Team Foundation Server.
- Tracks bugs as they are input into TFS and conducts daily bug triage sessions.
- Ensures accurate representation of all active bugs prior to go live.
- Obtains approval from all vested parties that UAT has been completed.
- Leverage a variety of tools in support of leading the Business testers (TFS, Excel, Urban Turtle, Test Manager, etc).
- Strong communication skills to negotiate with Business on allocation of resources to successfully perform both
- In-sprint and User Acceptance testing.
- Strong meeting facilitation skills.
- Ability to modify current Business testing approach as needed to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Experience with designing and implementing automated testing.
Agency Expected Deliverables
• Lead a group of 10 - 25 Business testers to execute test scripts for development of DMV transaction based system.
• Works with the G2 Release Manager to produce in-sprint and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) schedules.
• Produces test performance metrics for both In-sprint and User Acceptance testing:
• Test Case Development (planned verses actual)
• Test Case Execution (planned verses actual)
• Test Cases executed verses bugs filed
• Active bugs by Severity
• Bug Resolve rate
• Bug Recurrence rate
• Develops and delivers Business tester training material for test case development and execution.
• Develops and delivers Business tester training on TFS utilization to enter bugs for tracking.
• Works directly with the Business to align adequate resources for both in-sprint and User Acceptance testing.
• Manage and facilitate the G2 bug triage meeting that occurs during in-sprint and User Acceptance Testing.
• Specific Skills Required (Programming languages, databases, operating systems, etc.)
• Microsoft Visual Studio - Ultimate 2013, Microsoft test manager, Team Foundation Server (TFS), Selenium test automation software. Microsoft office suite.
Bachelors or equivalent technical study
