DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
As a security first organization, Technology Delivery Services (TDS) is part of the Information Technology (IT) Department. The TDS teams include Information Security, Planning (architecture and PMO), Application Development, HR & Payroll Development, Infrastructure, and Client Services teams. POSITION SUMMARY
As an Information System Analyst in the Web Application engineering group, provide the QA effort and responsible for QA testing of websites and web applications projects under the direction of the Web Support Supervisor.
The incumbent serves as a technical expert in development and maintenance of web-based applications and websites. Provides QA support for the web application development team and performs necessary testing of web accessibility and user experience. Troubleshoots / researches technical problems and resolves a wide range of issues, including data discrepancy and technical debt. He / She collaborates with other groups, including business analysis, development and infrastructure teams. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
This position focuses on extensive testing of features and functions of web applications and websites. The incumbent will develop, execute, and troubleshoot complex test scripts, scenarios, conditions, and cases, validate and /or create appropriate test plans and test execution plans. A majority of testing involves working with database queries to validate data to support testing cases. The incumbent applies skills as a seasoned, experienced software professional with a full understanding of industry practices and relevant procedures to test complex projects.
Maintains documentation regarding features and defects to help development team recognize similar problems and to provide quick resolution in the future.
Responsibilities

Provide QA support for web applications and websites development. Troubleshoot / research technical problems and recommend solutions. Develops test plan and oversees testing effort of QA support team. Performs complex data analysis and tests/debugs complex software. Responsible for creating use cases in addition to developing and maintaining test specifications, test cases, test scripts, and test data. Create and maintain testing libraries in support of the software development process and life cycle. Create and maintain functional, integration, end-to-end, and browser-compatibility tests. Create and maintain automated regression test scripts. Write detailed bug reports.

Consult with customers to document functional business requirements and expectations. Write functional requirements documents and work with customers to finalize specifications. Keep requirements documentation up-to-date and collaborate with support team and customer on troubleshooting web application problem referring the requirements documentation.

Develop and maintain test automation suites in order to facilitate regression testing. Collaborate with development team on designing, developing, maintaining and execution of automated testing solutions with a focus on creating efficiency through technology and automation.

Facilitate application development projects. Work with customers to develop requirement and new feature to support business needs. Work with technical team to implement solutions and give guidance on testing plan.

Facilitate development and testing related to the accessibility and usability of web applications and websites. Write guidelines, research solutions and tools to support testing and debugging the team websites and web applications.

Test and evaluate software tools for customers, from accessibility and usability perspectives. Document research, prioritize options, and recommend solutions that meet customer requirements and IT guidelines and standards.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of applicable experience in a quality assurance testing and working with customers to analyze business processes and developing testing requirements, as well as translating business requirements into technical test cases.
- Excellent oral communication skills which demonstrate the ability to effectively gather and communicate information from clients to determine technical needs and requirements.
- 2 years of applicable experience in automation testing. Proven skills of translating Requirements Traceability Matrix into automation test suites.
- Demonstrated experience writing complex scripts to perform functional and regression testing.
- Interpersonal skills to work with both technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization.
- Must be able to communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of web accessibility principles and experience in building for web accessibility.
- Ability to understand business needs and how business systems can support those needs. Has ability to interface with management on a regular basis.
- Demonstrated ability to draft clear, concise and logically written communications such as systems documentation, technical requirements, and user manuals.
- Possess strong analytical skills as demonstrated by the ability to draw conclusions in a logical, systematic way.
- Demonstrated ability to perform competently under pressure and to handle interruptions and changes without losing productivity.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, able to learn quickly, meet deadlines and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and how QA functions within it.
- Ability to plan assignments and monitor performance according to priorities as demonstrated by regularly meeting established deadlines.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
- Occasional travel might be required with an advanced notice.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
Salary: $101,000 - $126,000 annually commensurate with skills/experience.

Thiis position is open to be fully remote. U.S. based applicants who wish to work remotely will be considered.
