Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for a Software Quality Assurance opportunity for our customer in Paducah, KY for the Paducah Deactivation and Remediation Project.

Position Title: Quality Specialist III/SQA

Number of Positions: 1

Project location: Work will be performed ONSITE

Hours: full-time position

Qualifications:

• DOE site experience
• Must be a US Citizen
• Must be able to obtain a clearance (if requested)

Scope of Work:

The scope of work for the Quality Specialist III/SQA position includes guiding software owners in the grading of SQA requirements based on risk, safety, facility life-cycle, complexity, and project quality requirements. It also encompasses the application of SQA requirements to new and existing software base on life-cycle phases. Other duties of increasing significance for the success of the program are performing reviews of software configuration items, including reviewing the safety implications identified in the failure analysis and fault tolerance design; and developing/updating training for personnel who use and apply software in safety applications.
