Software Quality Assurance Analyst executes testing procedures to ensure that software meets established quality standards. Prepares data sets to test logic, error handling and system workflows. Being a Software Quality Assurance Analyst isolates, reproduces, and tracks defects. Verifies fixes. Additionally, Software Quality Assurance Analyst documents testing according to required procedures. Familiar with software development cycle and quality assurance methodologies. May assist with the creation of new testing scripts and plans. Requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to Quality Assurance Manager. The Software Quality Assurance Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Job Description: Job Posting Parsons is seeking Quality Assurance Engineers with experience in hardware testing, functional level testing, and system level testing to join our team of exceptional individuals. Qualified candidates will be required to collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to create test scenarios that model desired system behavior. Successful candidates must be flexible, self-motivated, hardworking, and capable of operating in a fast-paced environment. Required Qualifications Must have a Bachelor of Science in engineering, scientific, technical discipline, or comparable work experience Must have at least 10 years total related experience with at least 5 in a testing role Must have active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and amenable for poly upgrade What Required Skills You'll Bring: Experience working in a Linux command line environment Experience with network configuration Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment Experience conducting end-to-end testing of large or complex system of systems Experience analyzing performance, availability, stability, and efficiency of systems Experience validating and verifying application functionality against customer specified requirements Ability to communicate effectively with technical team members, managers, and customers What Desired Skills You'll Bring: Experience with virtualization technologies (VMWare, Xen, OpenStack, VirtualBox) Experience with testing software components Experience developing automated test harnesses Experience with testing frameworks such as Robot Experience with RVTM, FAT, Acceptance Testing, and other formal testing procedures and documentation Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Top Secret This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
