PowerChurch Software, a developer of church management software, is seeking a Software Support Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you'll combine your passion for helping others with your technical expertise to provide top-notch support to our customer community.

In this role, you will:

• Provide technical support by phone and email to church and nonprofit users across North America.
• Answer questions about using the features in our software’s various modules, such as Membership, Accounting, Contributions, Events, and more.
• Troubleshoot installation, networking, and accounting issues.
• Identify, document, and test software bugs.

To be successful, you should have:

• Strong technical understanding of modern PCs and Windows OS (experience with macOS a plus).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills (written and verbal).
• A friendly, patient, and professional demeanor.
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• A passion for initiative and self-directed learning.

Bonus points for:

• Accounting knowledge (Basic training for accounting and payroll will be provided.)
• Prior software support experience.
