We are seeking a highly skilled Machinery Engineer (Rotating Equipment) to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in providing expert technical guidance on the performance, reliability, and operation of rotating equipment such as compressors, pumps, fans, and blowers across our multiple plants. The successful candidate will lead monitoring, troubleshooting, failure investigations, and support field activities for commissioning. Salary: $140,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on technical support for the operation and maintenance of a wide range of rotating equipment including reciprocating and centrifugal compressors, various pumps, fans, and blowers.
- Monitor and analyze equipment performance through key performance indicators to ensure reliable and optimized operation.
- Lead the development and implementation of maintenance and operation strategies, contributing to prolonged equipment lifespan and reduced downtimes.
- Conduct detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for equipment failures, developing strategies that mitigate risks and prevent future issues.
- Facilitate and participate in workshops focused on maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and equipment reliability enhancements.
- Actively support the commissioning phase, including pre-commissioning and start-up operations, providing expert field support.
Minimum Position Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with over 5 years of progressive experience specifically with rotating equipment in heavy industries such as chemical, refinery, pulp & paper, steel, or power generation.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in vibration data analysis.
- Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), including platforms such as SAP for maintenance tracking and reporting.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards including API, ASME, and PIP which govern equipment design and operation.
- Legal authorization to work in the US currently and in the future without the need for sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- ISO Category III Vibration Analyst certification.
- SKF Certified Machine Inspection certification.
