RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Engineer in Fort Collins, CO. Individuals in these roles may have responsibilities across multiple software engineering disciplines on which the goal is development of creative, industry-leading, software services and solutions.
Responsibilities: * Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing activities for a specific software product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life * Collaborates with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal software solutions * Works with more senior engineers in the design and deployment of software * Designs, codes, and debugs applications in various software languages * Software Engineer will contribute to technology strategy and engineering roadmaps around software engineering; Executes strategic software engineering proof of concepts * Responsible for the development of a "proof of concept" reporting solution that will ultimately (not initially) allow Company to see labor source and material source information 5-6 levels up from the completed Company product
REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's degree in relevant area or demonstrated competence * 2-4 years of related experience * Need to be capable enough to partner with the architecture team to feed technical specifications that ultimately allow the deliverable (an App/dashboard reporting solution) to leverage the chosen architecture and data sources to report the requested information to the appropriate level of granularity
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
