The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add an experienced, motivated restaurant beverage supervisor to our Constellation team at Rat’s Restaurant in Hamilton, NJ. As a beverage supervisor you will be working with management to oversee the beverage and service operations of Rat’s Restaurant. Beverage supervisors will be working with the service team and guests to ensure the highest level of products and service are provided to our guests.

Compensation is $22-$25 an hour.

What you'll be doing:

• Working along side the management team to support and supervise beverage operations.

• Ensuring a high level of service standards are always met.
• Engaging with guests to provide a unique and exceptional dining experience.
• Supporting the service team with guests to suggest and sell beverage items.
• Keeping a detailed and organized inventory of items.
• Ordering beverage products.
• Assisting management to create new fun and unique beverage offerings.
• Training staff on wine, spirits, and beverage knowledge.

What we're looking for:

Must-haves:

• High volume restaurant experience.
• Fine Dining Experience.
• Previous beverage training.
• Experience with fine wine service.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and service knowledge.
• Experience managing large inventories and wine cellars.

Nice-to-haves:

• Entry level or certified sommelier or certified specialist of wine certifications.

• Cocktail or Mixologist training
