This position is responsible for meeting the goals and objectives of the organization by directing organization sourcing strategies and programs meant to identify, evaluate, and maintain a vendor network. This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives that ensure the timely procurement of high-quality materials at competitive costs.
- Achieving organizational goals in collaboration with Executive Leadership and key stakeholders.
- Drives cost-saving initiatives while delivering innovative, socially responsible, consistent, and sustainable products.
- Develops, communicates, and implements long-term supply strategies and programs, that will meet current and future internal and external requirements faced by the Global Sourcing team.
- Negotiates pricing, terms, supply contracts,
- Leads all synergy savings strategies for Global Sourcing for all future acquisitions.
- Drives the activities involved with supplier discovery, selection, and development, as well as, relationship management.
- Supporting the sourcing of commodities to achieve improvements in total cost of ownership, working capital and business financial goals.
- Works with cross functional teams to achieve strategic sourcing objectives.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 8-10 years' experience in a related field experience in a related field required.
- Proven experience in a managerial capacity.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Visio, Outlook Email, and calendar.
- Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
- Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
- Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision-making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
- Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
