    Job Description:

    As the Sous Chef at Noble Cellar, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the excellence of our culinary offerings. You will work closely with our Executive Chef to maintain the high standards of our kitchen, lead the kitchen when the Executive Chef is not present, and bring your expertise to the creation of innovative and delectable dishes. We are looking for an individual who is not only passionate about food but also capable of inspiring and mentoring our kitchen team.


    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to design and execute creative and seasonal menus.
    • Oversee and manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, presentation, and consistency meet or exceed our standards.
    • Lead and inspire the kitchen team by setting a positive example of professionalism, teamwork, and culinary excellence.
    • Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering their growth and development.
    • Maintain inventory control, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively.
    • Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards.
    • Take charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef, making decisions that ensure a smooth service.
    • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure efficient and harmonious operations.
    • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean, organized, and well-equipped kitchen.


    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience as a Sous Chef in an upscale restaurant.
    • A true food enthusiast with a passion for culinary arts.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with the Executive Chef and kitchen staff.
    • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
    • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
