Lowcountry Male & Aqua Vitae is a Male and Female Hormone Clinic in Upstate, SC seeking a smart, well-organized, skilled HR Manager to join our amazing team in Spartanburg, SC.
We specialize in Functional Medicine, Wellness, and Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy. We also offer Weight loss, treatment for Erectile Dysfunction, Nutritional Analysis, PRP procedures, IV therapy, and Aesthetic treatments. This is a boutique practice that has high standards of service and care. It requires a high level of critical thinking, ability to multi-task, and a sharp sense of responsiveness to patients and team members to keep all operations flowing. This will be a full time position Monday through Friday 8:30 to 5 and would be responsible for managing multiple locations in SC.
Key Responsibilities:
Front office Duties:
- Answer multiple phone lines
- Patient intake and checkout
- Patient flow
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments
- Data entry
- Patient records management
- Scan and file documents
- Communicate and handle incoming and outgoing electronic communications
- Assist other members of the office with various tasks as they arise
Recruitment and Hiring:
· Develop and post job descriptions for medical office positions.
· Conduct interviews, assess candidates, and make hiring recommendations.
· Manage the onboarding process for new employees, including orientation and training.
Employee Relations:
· Address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary issues.
· Investigate and resolve workplace conflicts.
· Facilitate communication between management and staff.
Benefits Administration:
· Manage employee benefits plans, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
· Educate employees on benefits options and enrollment processes.
· Monitor compliance with benefit plan regulations.
Performance Management:
· Implement performance appraisal systems to evaluate employee performance.
· Provide feedback and coaching to employees to improve performance.
· Conduct performance reviews and salary adjustments.
Compliance Management:
· Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local employment laws, including HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
· Maintain employee personnel files and records.
· Conduct regular compliance audits.
Training and Development:
· Identify training needs for medical office staff.
· Develop and deliver training programs on relevant topics like patient confidentiality and compliance.
Strategic Planning:
· Collaborate with clinic leadership to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization's goals.
· Analyze workforce trends and identify areas for improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare HR, preferably within a medical office setting
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with employees and management
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
