    SUMMARY:

    Ensure that specialized custodial maintenance project tasks are completed during the scheduled shift. As well as being sure the Kitchen Maintenance staff tasks are being completed during the scheduled shift.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Complete weekly schedules for day, swing and graveyard shifts to ensure that the highest level of customer service and cleanliness is maintained.
    • Supervise Custodial Maintenance Project Technicians, Custodial Maintenance Project Team Leads, Kitchen Maintenance Leads, and Kitchen Maintenance Technicians. Also includes assisting in the hiring, conducting reviews, and evaluating staff in a consistent and fair manner. 
    • Review timesheets for payroll processing and inform Custodial Maintenance Manager of any violations of policy and procedures with regards to Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel tardiness and absenteeism policies.
    • Supervise department leads to ensure department duties and goals are met as mandated by Custodial Maintenance Manager.
    • Assist manger in documenting shift personnel, attendance, and scheduling.
    • Interact with department leads and staff in order to identify and correct unsafe conditions or work practices.
    • Maintain an adequate inventory of department supplies (paper products, cleaners, etc.).
    • Immediately notify manager on duty of any concerns/complaints that customers may have.
    • Ensure department is in compliance with OSHA regulations and appropriate policies through monitoring, suggestions, and action plans.
    • Manage the set up equipment, tables, chairs, etc. for all bingo sessions, workshops, and special events.
    • Monitor the cleaning applicable areas after bingo sessions, workshops, and special events. Assist in clean up as well.
    • Ensure deep cleaning of all restrooms, offices, entries, walls, and other interior fixtures is being completed in a proficient manner by staff.  This will also include detailed dusting, waxing, and polishing of all inside vertical and horizontal surfaces.
    • Ensure that employees assigned to scrub and wax all hard floor surfaces complete the task in a proficient manner.
    • Ensure that assigned employees shampoo all interior carpets in a timely and proficient manner.
    • Ensure that the cleaning and preparation of all furniture for use in the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel and related properties is completed in a timely and proficient manner.
    • Ensure the removal snow and de-icing of sidewalks and walkways, as needed.
    • Delegate the loading/unloading of equipment and/or supplies as needed by casino to employees.
    • Attend all department team meetings, workshops, and training sessions as delegated by manager.
    • Immediately notify manager on duty or bingo manager of any complaints or concerns customers may have and bring manager to the customer to achieve positive resolution if needed.
    • Ensure the cleaning kitchen floor drains as need to keep free of food debris is completed in a timely and proficient manner.
    • Ensure compliance with all county, state, and federal food service laws and requirements.
    • Ensure employees sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications


    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education/Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
    • Must have a valid Driver’s License.
    • Preferably have at least six months of recent office experience (including answering phones, typing, filing techniques, computer knowledge, etc.) and a basic knowledge of office machines (copier, fax, calculator, etc.).

     

    Skills/Knowledge:

    • Must have strong verbal communication skills.
    • Must be able to provide excellent customer service.
    • Professional conduct including good attendance and ability to maintain professionalism at all times.
    • Be reasonably proficient in the Microsoft Office suite and the general Windows environment.
    • Must have a positive attitude, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to promote positive customer service.
    • Basic understanding of custodial equipment and its uses preferred.
