Duties:
- 1. Event Planning and Execution:
· Develop, plan, and coordinate a diverse range of events, including on-site shelter events, thrift store promotions, and off-site community engagements.
· Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure seamless event logistics, from concept to implementation.
· Manage event budgets, timelines, and resources to maximize impact and fundraising potential.
2. Community Engagement:
· Represent the organization at community events, fairs, and expos to promote our mission, programs, and services.
3. Fundraising and Donor Engagement:
· Strategize and implement fundraising initiatives within events to generate financial support for the Humane Society's programs and initiatives.
· Cultivate donor relationships and engage supporters, conveying the impact of their contributions.
4. Website and Online Presence:
· Maintain the organization's website, ensuring that upcoming events, fundraisers, and other relevant information are consistently updated.
· Collaborate with the communications team to create engaging and compelling content to promote events and initiatives.
5. Marketing and Promotion:
· Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, including flyers, social media posts, and press releases, to attract attendees and participants to events.
· Leverage social media platforms to increase event visibility and engage the online community.
6. Collaboration and Reporting:
· Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure the success of each event.
· Collect and analyze data related to event attendance, fundraising results, and community engagement to inform future strategies.
Experience:
Experienced marketing professional with a proven track record in event coordination. Proficient in WordPress and strategic fundraising. Skilled in driving impactful results for animal welfare initiatives.
