  • SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

    Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, the Player's Club Coordinator oversees the daily operations of the Player's Club, its supervisory personnel, and staff within established guidelines and procedure.

    Note: Native American preference will be given.

    BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

    • Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, and equipment.
    • Knowledge of business English, proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, and basic arithmetic.
    • Knowledge of principles and practices of public relations, promotions, and marketing in a customer service oriented environment.
    • Knowledge of computer utilization in marketing/business operations.
    • Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
    • Ability to communicate effectively in the English language, both verbally and in writing with staff and the general public.
    • Ability to apply basic mathematical skills.
    • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral form.
    • Skill in operating business computers and office machines, including in a Windows environment, specifically Word, Excel, Access, and presentation software (such as PowerPoint).
    • Must be able to work all shifts and weekends.
    • Must be 21 years of age or older.
    • Must be able to successfully obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Pueblo of Tesuque Gaming Commission.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Oversee Player's Club and staff personnel within established guidelines and procedures.
    • Respond to customer complaints and customer service needs.
    • Write policy and procedures as they apply to the Player's Club.
    • Responsible for achieving player development goals.
    • Review policy and procedures for promotion, slot tournaments and other special events and communicate the club functions necessary to implement these policies and procedures.
    • Administer direct mail projects.
    • Oversee Player's Club Supervisors and assign work duties and tasks.
    • Monitor Player's Club Supervisors for accuracy and proficiency in their work.
    • Manage customer ticketing services for Player's Club performances and
    • other special events.
    • Train Player's Club personnel on Oasis Super Playmate
    • Set up Oasis Super Playmate groups and apply PBT.
    • Set up Super Playmate tiered rewards and extract data from these programs for analyzing the success of the marketing promotions.
    • Order, track and inventory merchandise for club promotions.
    • Assist in the creative display of all merchandise items, promotional displays and casino decorations.
    • Work with the Director of Marketing, Marketing Manager and Promotions Coordinator to design and implement promotions, special events, projects, slot tournaments and other marketing programs.
    • Provide support as needed to casino promotions both on-site and off-site.
    • Assist with any paperwork needed for audit, gaming or cage for promotional payout, drawings and special events.
    • Organize and administer the overall reservations and services for tour busses in the casino and Player's Club.
    • Perform other duties as assigned or pertaining to the job.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Oversees the Player's Club Representatives.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Administration or a related field and three years' experience in marketing and promotions field in the gaming industry or equivalent experience of combination and experience.
    • Must be proficient with Windows operating system
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
    • Prefer experience with Aristocrat, Micros POS and Tickets.com ticketing.

    COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

    • Using the primary language identified as English, the following is required:
    • Ability to read, analyze and interpret policies and procedures, directions, reports and other working documents.
    • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals and
    • other working documents.    .    .
    • Ability to effectively communicate one on one, in small group s1t at1ons
    • and in moderate to large gatherings of associates and /or executives.
    • Bilingual preferred.

    REASONING ABILITY

    • Must have the ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
    • Must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
    • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, percentages_ and decimals.

The employee will be required to talk for extended periods and be able to listen and understand. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds. Specific vision abilities require close vision, distance vision and color vision.
