Sales and Special Events Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales and Special Events Manager to join our Group Sales team at Wonders of Wildlife! This Manager will be guest centered and facilitate group experiences for the Johnny Morris Foundation which includes Ancient Ozarks Natural History Museum, the Lost Canyon Cave Trail, Dogwood Canyon, Wonders of Wildlife, and other conservation attraction properties. Our Sales and Special Events Managers get to facilitate in some very special events and know that they are helping others create lifelong memories.
This position is full-time, exempt, and fully on-site. We are seeking someone with sales experience and a degree is preferred. Any combination of experience, education, skills, certification(s) etc. will be taken into consideration.

A day in the life of a Sales and Special Events Manager
A Sales and Special Events Manager is responsible for coordinating and directing the execution of group tours and special events. They will process inquiries for group tours, special events, weddings, or other functions at Wonders of Wildlife and/or other foundation properties (phone calls, emails, and website inquiries) promptly with documentation. They will meet with guests and conduct site tours of facilities and/or other foundation properties. They will negotiate and prepare contracts for tours, special events, food and beverages and/or other add-on services for Wonders of Wildlife and/or other foundation properties with no pricing or contractual changes made without documented change authorization from supervisor and/or directors. They will also prepare marketing information for annual venue, food & beverage menu, and advertising materials.
