JOB SUMMARY: The principle function of this position is to provide instructional assistance to students. The position works with individual and/or small groups of students to increase learning skills and levels; ability to work with students experiencing academic or behavior difficulties. The work is
performed under the supervision of a classroom teacher and the building Principal. The principle duties of this position are performed in classroom environment.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent AND successful completion of a minimum of 32 academic core college semester credits that will lead to a Bachelors Degree OR must pass the ETS Paraprofessional Praxis Assessment Test. Copy of transcripts must accompany the
