Specialty and Metal Sprayer, Sr. operates thermal spray. Prepares, masks, and applies metal spray coatings to rebuild parts. Being a Specialty and Metal Sprayer, Sr. able to perform all aspects of metal spray, including combustion, wire arc and thermal spray functions. Performs equipment maintenance, job quotes, sets up machines. Additionally, Specialty and Metal Sprayer, Sr. reads prints and drawings. Performs machine inspection. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Specialty and Metal Sprayer, Sr. works under moderate supervision. ILS Farms located in Great Bend, KS is looking to hire a full time Sprayer/Applicator.
Individual will get to work with and operate John Deere sprayers equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Individual will need to be self-motivated, dependable, hardworking, and detail oriented. Some experience is preferred, but willing to train. Basic knowledge of newer John Deere sprayers, Commercial Applicator Certificate, and Class A and/or CDL would be a plus. During non-spray days individual will assist in different jobs across the farm such as but not limited to; fencing, irrigation systems maintenance, shop projects, etc.
Must be able to pass post offer employment testing.
