Specialty Pharmacy Technician assists a registered pharmacist with support activities and processes required to dispense high dollar/specialty medications (e.g. Oncology, Multiple Sclerosis). Collects, inputs, and verifies prescription, refill, and patient information. Being a Specialty Pharmacy Technician receives and stocks incoming supplies. May be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department. Additionally, Specialty Pharmacy Technician requires a high school diploma. May require Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Specialty Pharmacy Technician works under moderate supervision. Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. Experience is preferred but not necessarily required. Pay will be based on experience.
We are looking at either full or part time positions. We are open 7am to 9pm during the week and closed on Sundays. Occasional Saturday shifts will be between the hours of 8am and 5pm.
Requirements:
-Prior Experience strongly preferred
-Applicants must have or obtain a Missouri Pharmacy Technician Registration before beginning employment
