Specialty Pharmacy Technician assists a registered pharmacist with support activities and processes required to dispense high dollar/specialty medications (e.g. Oncology, Multiple Sclerosis). Collects, inputs, and verifies prescription, refill, and patient information. Being a Specialty Pharmacy Technician receives and stocks incoming supplies. May be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department. Additionally, Specialty Pharmacy Technician requires a high school diploma. May require Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Specialty Pharmacy Technician works under moderate supervision. Overview:
We are seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician who is experience with Billing, Filling and Compounding. Candidate will be responsible for our patient relationship management, and processing prescriptions/refills to third-party payers for reimbursement. Must be able to pass a drug test and background check and have a valid Nevada Technician License in good standing.
