ABOUT THE ROLE
You will provide support to the Specifications Team and work with other Specification Coordinators across the Firm.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Assist in coordination of project procedures and standards.
- Participate with the firm's Architectural Specifications Department and Engineers to coordinate the submission efforts across multiple offices and projects.
- Assist in coordination of procedures and processes with new staff and outside consultants unfamiliar with our document standards.
- Receive and track project Specifications from consultants and internal team members across multiple offices.
- Assemble and organize multiple documents and project manuals.
- Update department technical documents.
- Format and organize documents and files.
ABOUT YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent . Associate degree or diploma in business or administrative office professional studies preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as an administrative support role required; prior work experience in the A/E/C industry is a plus.
- CDT certification is preferred.
- Must be able to work in a deadline driven environment and handle large volumes of documents.
- Ability to organize multiple projects is essential.
- Accuracy and strong attention to detail is a must, as well as strong verbal and written communication, teamwork, time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Bluebeam and Adobe Reader preferred.
- Familiarity with MasterSpec documents is preferred, familiarity with e-SPECS is a plus.
