Speech and Language Pathology Director directs the programs and staff of the speech and pathology department by providing exams, tests, diagnoses, and treatments for patients with speech disorders. Sets and implements guidelines for speech and pathology programs. Being a Speech and Language Pathology Director assigns therapists and monitors patient progress and treatment plans. Records test results and recommends treatment. Additionally, Speech and Language Pathology Director may require professional certification. May require an advanced degree.
