Speech and Language Pathology Director plans and directs the operations of an organization's audiology and speech therapy functions to ensure effective operation and compliance with regulatory standards. Designs policies and processes to ensure efficient service delivery and promote best practices. Being an Speech and Language Pathology Director develops and implements long-term strategic plans and objectives for audiology and speech therapy programs in alignment with the organization's overall objectives. Provides leadership and oversight to the development and expansion of programs or service offerings. Additionally, Speech and Language Pathology Director evaluates program design, assessment tools, and treatment protocols and researches advancements in the field. Develops and manages the budget to allocate resources to support staffing, equipment, and other program needs. Monitors operational and financial metrics to measure the achievement of organizational objectives. Negotiates and selects vendor proposals and manages vendors to maintain inventories and adhere to budgets. May require a master's degree in audiology or speech pathology. Requires State License based on Clinical Specialty. Typically reports to senior management. The Speech and Language Pathology Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Speech and Language Pathology Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     The Speech Pathology Group and Rehab Services of CT (SPGCT), located in Shelton, Connecticut is a private practice seeking a part time or full-time BCBA to join its ABA team. We provide clinic-based and in-home services (around the Shelton area). Our mission and philosophy align itself with trauma-informed behavioral interventions, specifically the Practical Functional Assessment and Skills Based Treatment! We are ready and willing to train the right candidates in this process. In addition to ABA, SPGCT offers families a broad scope of services including speech, occupational, physical, and aquatic therapy services!     • Help develop and facilitate mentoring and supervision programs
    • Provide training and continuous evaluation of staff performance.
    • Collaborate and co-treat with other professionals within the practice to help provide a well-rounded team approach.
    • Collaborating with the clinical and management team to provide best outcomes for the clients, families, and company.
    • Create and monitor data collection protocols
    • Participate in and conduct team meetings in order to update clinicians and families on client treatment plans
    • Conduct initial assessments and maintain a caseload of clients and a team of staff
    • Engage in continuous professional development efforts to learn, maintain, and train new evidence-based, behavior analytic strategies.
    • Establish and maintained ecologically relevant behavioral repertoires including compassionate, humble, flexible, creative, and progressive practices.

    Qualifications:

    • BCBA Certification & CT licensure
    • Master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis
    • 1-year minimum experience working as a BCBA (preferred)
    • Focus and experience with pediatrics (early ages preferred)
    • Experience with in home and clinic treatment

    Location:

    • Clinic: Shelton, Connecticut (Right off Route 8)
    • In-home services- Along Route 8 and surrounding towns of Shelton
